Three Waters Health and Safety Induction Checklist: Details

You MUST verify that you are aware of the following items prior to commencing work.

Site Specific Induction

Understand that CDC will provide a site- specific induction to cover specific health and safety requirements such as evacuation information. *

Safety equipment / PPE

Fully aware of the use of safety equipment specified by your employer and aware of the consequences of not complying. *

Permit to Work/SWMS

Understand high risk work will require a PTW or SWMS. *

Electrical safety and equipment tagging

Electrical equipment used by you must be fitted with a current safety test tag, and all electrical leads are kept off the ground. *

Asbestos

You will review the site Asbestos Survey prior to undertaking any work which could disturb asbestos and follow all Asbestos Regulations. *

Safety data sheets

You have Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on site detailing any dangerous, harmful or flammable material you are using. *

Restricted areas

Understand our sites are often on shared land, you will comply with all signage, access restrictions and safety systems. *

Working at heights

You understand that work at heights must be adequately controlled. NOTE: You are NOT permitted to adjust or remove any parts of scaffold, handrails or forms of fall arrest equipment unless you are the appointed, licensed scaffolder for this project. *

Power tools and equipment

You will NOT use power tools or other equipment unless you have adequate experience in their use. *

COVID-19

You will follow national instructions and site procedures relating to Covid. *

Induction/approvals/qualifications

You will not allow ‘others’ onto our sites who have not been inducted, or have approval by CDC and no work will be commissioned on your behalf without prior approval. *

Environmental protection

You will ensure that contaminated material / water does not enter the stormwater or sewerage system, and maintain erosion control systems to prevent contamination from occurring. *

Risk Register

You have reviewed the Risk Register associated with the 3 Waters sites. *

Reporting

You will report all health and safety events (incidents, accidents, hazards, near hits, damage, threats, security issues). *

Confirmation of your understanding

I confirm that I have read & understood this form. I agree to comply with these conditions and am aware that I may be liable to a penalty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 as a result of non-compliance. *
